Dr. Gideon Rappaport Ph.D.

Gideon Rappaport, Ph.D., also known as “Dr. Rap,” is a retired teacher and active theatrical dramaturge who has taught Shakespeare for fifty years in high school, college, graduate school, and adult education courses and served as dramaturge for professional productions of plays by Shakespeare and others and for the film Complete Works on Hulu,

in which he had his film acting debut.

 

He graduated from Cowell College, UC Santa Cruz, and earned his Ph.D. in English and American Literature at Brandeis University.

 

He is co-author of
